Medical Aid in Dying
The Medical Aid in Dying Act is a new option in end-of-life care in New Jersey. Here you will find some answers to frequently asked questions about the law in our state and a Patient-to-Doctor Referral Service.
The American Clinicians Academy on Medical Aid in Dying continues and extends the work of the National Clinicians Conference held at UC Berkeley in February 2020, informing and educating clinicians about medical aid in dying. You will find on the website a Patient-to-Doctor Referral System and a Confidential Participating Physician Form.
The materials in this toolkit are intended to be tools that health care facilities and providers may use to implement and comply with the “Medical Aid in Dying for the Terminally Ill Act.”
